The design is inspired by the strong symbolism of the Black Star represented in Marcus Garvey’s “The Black Star Line”, which was founded in 1919. A symbol promoting Pan-Africanism and African independence.
The Black Star artwork is visualised by the overlay of three stars, each representing the three rasta colours “red”, “gold” and “green”.

A unique blend of organic hemp and cotton specifically aimed to create comfort throughout the hot summer months. All organic hemp and cotton used for this project is grown free of chemical fertilisers, pesticides, herbicides and defoliants.
