Medium Weight Sweatshirt & Hoodie with Palestinian Tatreez Embroidery

The practice of Tatreez Embroidery originated in Palestine over 3000 years ago. The unique embroidered motifs signifies Palestinian heritage and identity for women in particular.

In the medium french terry we have chosen to embroider iconic lyrics by the legendary Bob Marley, who represents the spirit of co–existence and liberation of the people.

Our heavier french terry is knitted using 3-ply yarn making the fabric denser and therefore warmer.

Our latest embroidery design is a back panel of our logo embroidered using traditional Tatreez shaped stitches and front panel of Bob Marley’s renowned song “One Love” in Arabic script.

Finally, our Ryukyu Blues and Re-imagined projects ensures we have no waste within our stock. We do not believe garments should be destroyed or end up in landfill because of redundant design or a few defects.

Both our Ryukyu Blues and Re-imagined project uses garments and fabrics from our archive and reformed as entirely new and unique pieces - transcending season cycles and mass production.
