The Ghanaian Kente cloth dates back to the 17th century and is still widely handwoven on traditional looms throughout Ghana. For this collaboration with Le Tings, creator Harris Elliott has chosen the iconic three colours of the Ghanaian flag, red, gold and green. On our journey to Tamale in north Ghana we met with the beautiful workshop that has handwoven the Kente cloth used for this project.
Our heavy weight french terry used for this hoodie is knitted using 3-ply yarn making the fabric denser and therefore warmer.
It’s perfect for the autumn and winter conditions and the simple design is perfect for everyday use.
The model is 5.8 ft / 176 cm tall and is wearing a size L.
