Our iconic Black Fist Logo was created shortly after we decided to start our social design studio in 2004. The initial concept of a fist came from the revolutionary ideology of the civil rights movement in the USA led by Martin Luther King Jr. Another key influence was the symbol of feminism that had been ingrained in our minds from a young age, seeing this symbol outside the women’s shelter near our childhood home.
The Black Fist Logo symbolises revolution and unity and embodies our desire to challenge the conventional business model that prioritises financial profit over people and social justice.
Our heavy weight french terry used for this hoodie is knitted using 3-ply yarn making the fabric denser and therefore warmer.
It’s perfect for the autumn and winter conditions and the simple design is perfect for everyday use.
The model is 5.8 ft / 176 cm tall and is wearing a size L.
