These totes are made from repurposed rice sacks individually sourced from Kantamanto market in Accra, Ghana and Kimi market in Rwanda. Entitled 'Scandal Bags', named after the term used by Jamaicans to describe the the bags they are handed in the markets.
No two bags are identical, each source material used has a different quality and print. We take unwanted material and then finish it to a luxury quality. We preserve with a delectable collage and then finish to the highest standard with the best saddle leather to ensure premium finish.
