The Inoue Brothers... x Richard Windsor
Artist Richard Windsor’s bold graphics express anarchical and emotional statements through legendary moments in football. These drawings were originally made for a football initiative we created together with Richard and Tomorrowland called “The 101 - One World Eleven”. Twelve years have passed since then, and the initiative still lives on in Japan.
We felt it was poignant to bring back these powerful drawings due to the controversy around this year’s Football World Cup in the Americas, which includes the United States of America. With the dehumanising activities of Donald Trump’s administration, the drawings are more relevant than ever.
We have known Richard for nearly two decades, and he has been a huge contributor to our Tohoku Project from the very beginning. We are massive admirers of his powerful style of drawing, which has so much energy and evokes emotions.
The Tohoku Project was created after the devastating tsunami hit Japan’s northern region of Tohoku on 11th March 2011. With every purchase from our online store, you are actively supporting the incredible communities behind each product. Read the full story behind our project HERE.

The image of Roberto Baggio missing the penalty that lost Italy the World Cup in 1994 is a poignant reminder of the pain of losing that we can all relate to. Furthermore, Baggio went on to become one of greatest footballers of all time and a magnificent role model even after missing that penalty. This is the true power of victory.
